What's New at LPA!

Exciting News from LPA...

Families have spoken, and we are listening! The doctors, management and staff at Lansing Pediatrics have been working hard over the past few months to create a new and improved patient experience, limit the need for phone calls and increase access to the practice. Below is a list of the changes along with a few “wish list” items we continue to work to implement:
 

  • Patient Portal – all patients can now have convenient online access to visit history, upcoming appointments, test results, immunization history and messaging to the office. Please ask the Front Desk staff for a secure PIN to gain immediate access. For more information about the Portal, including patients over 12 years old, click HERE.
  • Automated Appointment Reminders – we recognize the busy schedules that all parents have these days. In an effort to make sure all appointments are utilized fully and available for patients needing services we have implemented a fully automated reminder system for future appointments.
  • Appointment Scheduling – the schedules are now open for the next 6+ months, with more access to well exams with both PCPs and the NP/PA providers!
  • New Physician – LPA is excited and proud to announce the addition of Dr. Kayla Acre to the practice, giving our patients more access to same day appointments and reduce the need to visit an Urgent Care clinic.
  • Website – Explore www.lansingpediatrics.com: it is full of incredibly helpful information. If your child is sick, please visit the website and try the Symptom Checker for valuable parent triage resources to determine if an office visit is required.
  • Phone System – we are now using a new system with updated software, designed to improve patient hold times, call backs and messaging capabilities.


Wish List

  • Online Bill Pay – this is a service we continue to explore as a convenient option for families. Stay tuned for updates as we research the best way to implement this program
